To rescue captive bred wolves and wolf dogs which have been abused, abandoned, and scheduled for euthanasia. To seek out and find a safe, proper, and loving home in the correct environment. To provide sanctuary for those which cannot be adopted. To educate the public about the needs and requirements of this type of canine.

News:
We are a nonprofit wolfdog sanctuary giving lifelong care to our residents. Rarely, we may have one that would be able to be adopted, but that is not our goal.
We are working on finishing new, larger containments with a huge play yard in the middle of all of the enclosures where each enclosure will open separately from the others into the play yard. We will have a large pool, a trampoline, and obstacles in the yard for the animals to enjoy playing around and climbing on.
After we open we are planning camp outs and howl-ins where you can bring your tents and camp in the play yard.
We have low content wolfdogs to higher content wolfdogs here at the sanctuary. We usually keep them in pairs so they have a buddy.
One of our main goals is to help educate the public on owning and caring for wolfdogs. Along with that goal is caring for our animals and giving them the best life possible. They deserve it.

Tiny is from a litter of wolfdog puppies that I raised for someone. I ended up rescuing all of them. The two males were placed with a friend who is experienced with wolfdogs and they will never be used for breeding. The females ended up staying here at the sanctuary. Potential adopters all wanted to use them to produce puppies they could sell. Tiny was a teeny tiny runt. After her bottle she always fell asleep on my lap or shoulder. She was a feisty little girl and holds a very special place in our hearts. She was the first puppy to howl and it was an adorable teeny howl. Tiny and siblings are upper mid content wolfdogs. Her brothers DNA tests came back at 83 and 87 percent wolf content.
Lycan and Kyra were going to get confiscated because they kept getting loose. Lycan is very sweet, but Kyra does not trust anyone. She is finally warming up to me.
Atlas was a mostly feral wolfdog who had been running loose near Winnfield, Louisiana for close to two years after his family moved and left him there. We agreed to take him if he could be trapped. Our VP along with a wonderful woman who lived in Winnfield finally caught Atlas, but not until somebody shot him point blank in the face. He almost lost his life right when Trish was gaining his trust. His story is a particularly tragic one, but he will be forever safe with us. He is a fractured, broken soul and we love Atlas very much.
Mr. Silver is one of 3 wolfdogs that we rescued from the same litter. He is a very shy, mid content wolfdog. He loves to lounge around on his platform in his enclosure and watch all of his neighbors. He was 7 years old, Feb 12th 2022.
Meet Rukia. Her owner married a woman with two small dogs. They were attacking her for her food and when she tried to defend herself her owner threatened to shoot her. She is finally warming up to me and she is still wary of new people. She is slowly starting to relax. We love this little girl. She seems to have very little wolf content if any, but she is a welcome addition here at the sanctuary.
